This is the day of my retirement. As of 5:00 pm today, I can stay up late and knit as long as I want to. My new gmail address is in my profile. It is-- I don't have a computer at home and until I do, I am going to have to go to the library once a week, or so, to keep abreast of the current happentings in the world of MENWHOKNIT.

Congratulations and enjoy retirement. Why only once a week? Wait, that's have lots to tend to. I rely on public computers by choice. Take care and I look forward to hearing from you as the time allows.

Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.

Congratulations on your retirement. I retired on August 1st myself. Best move I ever made. You'll undoubtedly find that it is a good move for you too. I hemmed and hawed about retiring when the time came but because of the recession and the Governor of my state (Connecticut) putting the squeeze on employees ready to retire I took the plunge. Never regretted. I have time for all sorts of things.

Once again Congratulations! You'll love it.

Congratulations on your retirement, Rex!!! I retired mid-June. It took over 3 months for my biological clock to realize that I did not have to wake up at 4:00 a.m. LOL!! Hope your biological clock doesn't take as long mine did.

Congrats on being put out to pasture! LOL

I am not retired yet, and I don't think I ever will be. A guy in our office retired in April -- and this month, he returned to work. He said he couldn't afford to be retired! He found out it was a lot more expensive to live than he thought it would be. So while he can, he will still try to keep up. I think I am doomed to work until my last days... I can't afford to retire either!

I hope you enjoy your new freedom. Remember when your eyes cross and you have twice as many stitches as called for that it is time for bed. Congratulations.
