Took a break from knitting...

Started a shawl on friday - but in CROCHET; finished it last night and it was ALMOST dry this am. Pictures to follow.

It's a simple shawl to be used for the Dickens Festival I work in the winter.

Next up - the 18 foot scarf for the new "medical student" who has joined the cast.

Beautiful work! I am always inspired by your work.

I love this - especially the edging.

That has a very Dickensian feel to it all right. Great piece of crochet, Mmario.

And more importantly - Madame Director has already drooled over it.....which means it has her blessing.

Now if I can get the 18 foot scarf past them....I think I've talked our new "young gentleman" into being a medical student.....

we want to see how many people get the joke...

MMario - I'm not divorced from reality - we're having a trial separation

That's a "fun" idea!

Young medical gentleman with an 18 foot scarf...I got it right away. Especially if he prefers to go incognito. Mmario, you are a sly one!

Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.

Cool that your crocheting costumes, I crocheted lots costume stuff mostly head gear for college theatre and it was always a blast. I would spend evenings with the costume desinger and her sewing machine making the most wonderful creations.
