I have Oberle's book and keep looking at this shawl. I will have to add it to my list because your rendition is absolutely wonderful. Beautiful choice of yarn. And it looks so lovely being used.

It's great. You've inspired me to try some lace stuff. Greetings from London

Lace appeals to both the right and left sides of my brain - it's comprehensive brain therapy.

Great job. I love Oberle's book. I've knit a few of the items from it now and have a few more I want to do. I just knit MMario's QAL in Ella Rae Lace Merino. It's such great yarn to work with. You did a fantastic job. I'm sure it's just as elegant yet snuggly as it appears in the pic.

That is a very goodlooking shawl. Great mix of color and pattern.

Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.

Thanks everyone! I'm slowly working my way through Folk Shawls. Cheryl's projects always turn out so well and the directions are always impeccably written and easy to follow. I would love to take one of her seminars but they cost a fortune.
