Moving to Chattanooga, TN

Hey Guys! Andy & I are getting ready to move down to Chattanooga, TN so Andy can be closer to family while he goes back to school full-time.

We have been to a couple yarn shops down there. Three Black Sheep in Signal Mountain and the Genuine Purl in Chattanooga. Just wondering if anyone lives in the area, has further suggestions on places to go or any other tid-bits that may be helpful!

I will still be headed up to Maryland in May and Rhinebeck in October with The Fold for the Sheep & Wool Festivals.

Knit on!

Hi Thor:

I live in Chattanooga and I am excited to read that you guys are moning here. Chattanooga is a great city and I love living here. There is one more yarn shop that I know of which is:

All Books, Chattanooga
410 Broad St, Chattanooga, TN 37402-1219
1 423 266 0501
Open Hours: Mo to Sa from 10:00 AM to 08:00 PM
As the name indicates it is also a book shop. As a matter of fact it is sevearl things but the owner is a very nice lady and spins her own yarn which she sells along with an asortment of needles. She combines yarn fibers to create some very interesting yarns. (she is a little odd and the environment is a little overwhelming but she is always very helpful). The shop is downtown between 4th and 5th streets.

Please feel free to send me an email. I would love to meet you guys and would be happy to help you get to know your way around town, if you don't already.
