Sun Satchel

Hi Everyone!
I wanted share pics of my latest FO. I just finnished the Sun Satchel from West Knits book three by Stephen West. I made it out of Lamb's Pride worsted. Overall this was a very fun knit, and I think I would make it again if reason gives. Though I think I'm going to have to tie a knot in the top of the strap because it seems like it's going to grow. Overall, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out and it's going to become my new knitting bag. :-)

The bag is lovely and felted so nicely. Isn't it great to make something so useful?

You might take a tuck in the top...fold a "Z" at the top of the strap and sew will give you a padded section on top...which is comfortable...

You did a fantastic job!

Bill's suggestion is a great one. I also heard - for future bags - that a Linen Stitch strap works well for bags, whether felted or not. Looks really nice.

Really nice job on the bag! I need to readjust my Project to-do list so that I can get this started.
