I had several requests for a photo of the ES Adult Surprise Jacket I knitted for my wife. Here is a picture needs the buttons and blocking. I used a Noro for the stripping and a co-ordinated a honey brown wool to pair with it. I followed her pattern as written in School House Press Pattern #5.

Love to see a picture of her wearing it!

Very nice blending of the two colorways. I keep considering an ASJ for a project and may have to start seriously planning one.

Joe - Thanks. It is a fun project and I am saving my scraps from other projects to do one for myself but may have a change of plans. Last Sunday while at one of my favorite yarn shops I found a great cream Noro colorway that is just crying out to me to use. It would be great with this pattern with another noro that I have in shades of browns, blacks and grey/blues.

Twistknit - I tried to get her to model it but no luck. So I opted just to photograph it for those that asked.

The blending of cream and the brown, black and grayish blues sounds really nice. I think you should go for it. If it should happen that it not knit up as you like, you can always go back to other colorways.

That looks so cool that I went to Schoolside Press and ordered the pattern.
