Finished this about 2 years ago, but never got to post it. Changed quite a bit...but love wearing it. Indian head nickel buttons, Cuccoon is the name of the grey trim yarn. Red is Peruvia.
Very nice. Love the cable work and the choice of colors. Dark burgandy colors are some of my favorites.
There are some who have said to me that I was born to wear red. I guess I took their advice seriously...no, it is an addiction...LOL...or a genetic predilection from my North Sea island forebears. I, perhaps, am channelling Jessica Rabbit!
Every person I encounter teaches me more about myself. Without whom not.
This came out great!!! I hope mine comes out as nice! You do great work
Love the colors.
I am sure you will do great things.
A very handsome sweater, Mark. The grey is very effective as are the buttons. Beautiful work.
Thank you, Ron!
Smart looking cardigan, great colours.
That is a VERY handsome piece of work. All that directional knitting must have really kept you on your toes! Color choices and buttons well done. Is it for you? I think that it would show off your strong chest and shoulders to great advantage.
FIVE GOLD STARS !!........Eric
Thank you for you affirming enthusiasm! The traveling stitches were a challenge to keep...well, moving in the right direction, reversing for a time six times front to back to front again. I also did the cable insert panel as one long stretch, steeked, then cut to retain the tension at the armholes and match the pattern. Quite a nice exercise in seamless knitting.
I love the fit on my chest and shoulders...but a great jacket for almost any build.
This is a work of art, Mark. Excellent craftsmanship and such a great design.

Wow...I remember when you were knitting on it. Doesn't seem like 2 years ago. Great sweater. Thanks for showing it to us.
Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.
Thank you for your kind words, Joe. I had to take a break from knitting...distraction during my clothing construction adventures at FIT. But now I have this seething need....
They tell me cold showers can help with that... ;-P
[Seriously, though, you are most welcome. That sweater and its various parts is quite nice.]
Really masterful. Exquisite craftsmanship. Bravo!
Thank you, Tom! I am honored.
Absolutely beautiful...I am very jealous of your ability!
Thank you. I look forward to admiring your achievements.
Looks great! I remember when you were working on this. Very nice as always!
Exquisite. The details! WOW!
