I've made a bit of progress on my new raglan sweater by Staci at VeryPink.com
It is a very well-written pattern and with her videos, it's nice to have someone get you through the tough spots. I especially like the icord stitching down the slit in the front where the zipper goes. While it doesn't show in the photo, the edges are thicker because the icord is knitted right into the rows. She even has a nifty way to put a zipper in a knitted garment. Check it out.

Thankfully, the yarn I am using from KnitPicks and has a nice buttery quality to it, nothing like the mess I had to deal with in my last sweater project for my son; not a break or fray in the lot so far. It is City Tweed Aran/HW, Tarantella.
Ten more inches left on the torso.
I'll post more once I get the torso finished and the arms started. I am imagining that spring will be here before I am finished with it, so it will be waiting for me next fall. Of course, if I can make it to Denver this summer, perhaps up at that elevation, a sweater might come in handy.
