Finally finished !

After about four years I've finally finished this Shetland shawl. The pattern is A Knitted Veil from Victorian Lace Today, the yarn is a natural coloured laceweight wool from the Melanian Sheepgrowers in Western Australia, it measured out at 70cm x 207cm.

Beautiful shawl, Kerry - looks very comfortable too!

How does that manage to look both sturdy and delicate at the same time?

MMario - I'm not divorced from reality - we're having a trial separation

It does MMario. The color seems to help with that.

MMario, I believe Kerry's skillful control of the Coriolis Effect, traveling in a different reference frame than we North Americans, is in full evidence here. Masterfully done, sir!

Every person I encounter teaches me more about myself. Without whom not.

Mark, yet again you have me scuttling off to Google to fully understand one of your comments :-)..... physics was not a favourite subject of mine at school.

Looks great. I bet you felt a wonderful feeling of accomplishment flood over you when you bound off the last stitch and weaved in the end. Job well done. I love it.

Thanks to eyeryone for your kind and heart-warming comments. I normally give my shawls away but because I like the colour and because of the years spent knitting it I may just keep it for myself, that wasn't the intention when I did the in-house modeling.

This is a fabulous shawl Kerry, and there is some serious envy here. I think you are right to keep it for yourself.
