Coffee Shop blues, a poem by Grandcarriage
Here I sit, brokenhearted.
Came to knit, but
and strangely familiar...
Ah yes, I recall, the boys locker room back at EHS.
Knitting was really big, even then.
Hope you get to be more productive tomorrow.
Please remember: I have a collection of needles and a history of violence
Awesome. How many times has that happened to me! :-)
We should all start on a knitting poetry contest. I'll work on a Haiku (?spelling). I'll have to look it up and see exactly what it involves. I know its like 5 lines with 9 syllables or somethign like that! :-)
Haiku - pattern is 5/7/5 syllables:
So much to be knit
Patterns sitting in the stash
Wallet out of cash.
MMario - I don't live in the 21st Century - but I play a character who does.
MMario - I'm not divorced from reality - we're having a trial separation
My sentiments indeed.
Your poem makes me smile! I'll have to work on a Haiku to add here.
My knitting is totally tubular!
