Candle flame lace shawl

Fresh from being blocked is my latest FO, the Candle Flame Shawl (a freebie pattern by Knit Picks). It is knitted in Australian 2ply laceweight wool, cranberry shade, by Bendigo Woollen Mills (email them for a free shade card).

That is so beautiful! However do you manage to do such lovely complex stitches? My hat's off to you!

Looks great! What are the final dimensions of the shawl?

Kerry, that's great work and a great color! I hope mine turns out half as nice.

Looks good GREAT!

This has been in my "to do" list for some time - now I *know* I've got to find the right yarn for it and do one.

great colour as well. Luckily - I have not yet found a convenient place to order Bengigo yarns from...*grin*

Very nice! Wonder if I can get one done for Mother's're giving me ideas!

Think less, enjoy it more.

I started this shawl last August, intending it as a birthday present for my mom at the end of September. I finished it around Thanksgiving and gave it to her at Christmas. (I did double the width, so maybe the pattern as written would go a little faster.)
