ok, I made this as a gift for my boyfriend's best friend. He's a Mac fanatic and frequently misses dinners and such because he's fallen asleep on the sofa in his office. It's nothing too much, but I think (hope) he'll like it. I'd change a few things if I made it again, but I think the cute & clever aspects of it outrank the slightly flawed execution. The back is mitered squares of grey and white stripes.

Very cute. What did you use for stuffing?

Thanks! I just used a 14 x 14 pillow form. Muuuch easier than trying to stuff it and not have it too lumpy.

that's adorable! I'm sure your boyfriend's best friend will love it! :) It's obvious that you made a big effort to design something special - this is the type of gift that is remembered for a lifetime!

He saw it tonight and did, indeed, love it. But now I have to finish the gift for his wife before he can take it home. Her birthday was weeks ago, but I foolishly opted to make slippers for her. The first one has been done a while, but I failed to take the second one has been languishing on the needles. *sigh* Now I remember why I've never tried socks. Still, the iNap was a huge success so I couldn't be happier.

Very Clever!!!
I Love it!

Thanks :D
It's gonna be hard to give away. (But easy enough to make a new, improved iNap 2.0)

You should sell the idea to Apple - a whole new line of business for them. Very creative - good job.

Heheheh... Maybe I should make another to send to Steve Jobs? Nah, he'd probably sue me as he seems quite the litigious sort. Thanks for the appreciation.

Think less, enjoy it more.

It really was quite easy and fun, just about the most enjoyable thing I've knitted in a very long time. I am so glad everyone seems to like it as much as I do!
