On Proud to JayWalk

Iris Sibirica JayWalker, originally uploaded by elemmaciltur.

Re-Started: 17th June 2007
Finished: 30th June 2007
Yarn: Rohrspatz & Wollmeise superwash sockyarn, colourway "Iris Sibirica"
Needle: 2.5 mm/ US #1 Addi Turbos circs
Pattern: JayWalker by Grumperina on MagKnits
Modification: I'm doing this using the toe-up version modified by Natalia Knits and I'm also using the Magic Cast-On instead of the provisional cast-on suggested. I also did the heel-flap myself. Didn't use the heel flap in the pattern...and it's also Eye of Partridge

It is finished! This is quite a record, too! Less than two weeks for a pair of socks!!!! Go me!

Honestly, I'm extremely proud of this pair of JayWalkers. They fit me perfectly. I had been kinda put off from JayWalkers after so many problems with the top-down pattern (too tight, too loose, too long). I had some problems with the toe-up version, too....but I made it in the end and I absolutely LOVE it!

There will surely be more toe-up JayWalkers to come!

Now I'll knit on other things.....including something very secret I'm not allowed to talk about! *Hah! I'm a tease!*
