My Contrbution for this Winter

I have knitted just one sweater this winter. It was for an elderly friend, I knit for her and her family on a regular basis. It was a very easy cable pattern and is done in 8 ply Bendigo "Boutique", 65% pure wool, 25% Leicester wool & 10% mohair.

I like it! Most cable sweaters I see are too "busy." They look like someone was trying to cram as many different clashing patterns as possible into the fabric. Yours has a simplicity of design that still comes across very attractive.

I just saw this fantastic jumper - where the hell has this pic been hiding??? I really like the XO pattern - it's like a Fair Isle cable! I really like it a lot!
