Nice basic scarf.

I am not familiar with that brand of yarn - is it fun to work with?

PaxKnitter's picture

The mohair is so fuzzy that I have to be very careful not to put my needle through part of another stitch. Otherwise, it's very nice feeling.

Peace,
Paul

Yeah...that's mohair, and, if you ever need to tink/unknit...it's a bear - the fibers catch each other with a deathgrip.

Oh yeah, I've already had that happen once. I definitely learned that I need to concentrate when I'm working on this one.

Peace,
Paul

The scarf is looking pretty good. I'd bet that yarn would look good cabled. :D

I'm working on a cabled scarf, too (I'll post that when I get home).

No, on the cabled scarf, I'm using Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick and Quick Navy Blue on #15 needles.

Peace,

I'm sure it'll be a lovely scarf and will feel great to wear. Your sister-in-law's a lucky woman.

The color of your scarf is reading cobalt blue on my monitor- it's very appealing.

PaxKnitter's picture

My monitor is doing the same thing, but it is definitely turquoise in real life. When I get home, I'll try to use a better camera and see if I get better results.

Peace,
Paul
