There just isn't enough *TIME*

MMario's picture

I currenlty have 5 6 designs underway, either partially written up or needing to be written up from sketchy notes

A'Tuin, VKandis,Commando, Black diamond, Damascus and Charybdis

that's in addition to at least three four other shawls on the needles plus two crocheted;

and then there are the ten hats I need to get knit up before august

and the clerical stoles

and at least 14 other ideas for shawls - at the moment....

and the pair of kilt socks stalled with only the toes done.

Bring on the clones! I really need clones!

VKandis? The Sun God? I Hope there's at least one Firecat in the design! :-)

*sigh* D*mn you!
Design change.

Yes - I hadn't thought of that, but firecats in the border would be appropriate, almost necessary.

'VKandis SunLord' is the next "planned" design on my list. and I've got it pretty well worked out ; just have some minor things to clean up before I polish the pattern - such as getting the another project off the needles and freeing up the cone of yarn I want to use - so that I can actually knit the design.

After that the next biggie is A'Tuin (from Pratchett)

There are now eight. Happy? though if I were doing it strictly for myself they would four pairs, rather then 8 clones.

(It was a *good* design change )

What's a firecat?

VKandis is a/the sungod in a fantasy series by Mercedes Lackey set in/on the world of Velgarth - see Wikipedia for more information then you probably want to know. She's up to 29 volumes I think so it's quite a corpus of work.

Anyway - Firecats (for the simple answer) are large flame-point siamese in appearance, but telepathic, teleportive and with a direct connection to their god.

Let me into the secret of how you manage without sleep in order to knit, read, write up patterns, think up more patterns, worship the cats, drive to work and drive home again, knit, read ...

I'm retired, but I could use a few more hours in the day.

I don't have the answer - that's the problem - and why VKandis (which was conceived several years ago) is just now getting written up.

A winning lottery ticket would be fine. But only if it nets enough to live on.

I probably wouldn't object to being a "kept man" either....

with all your WIPs it might have to be the larger of the winning super lotto variety. plus there's all the robes and olive branches and doves to maintain.

re being a "kept man," what does one get to keep?
