What a nice poncho! And beautiful colours too. I've seen that "sicksack" knitting in a lot american patterns but never in european pattern.

Thanks Ulf, I'm glad you like it!  The pattern was very easy and works up quick on size 17's!

I got the yarn when I was in Barcelona last fall.  I love how it turns out!

Sweet work!!!  I picked up the same issue yesterday while I was in the checkout line at the grocery store.  I'm going to have a shot at the dog collars (being as new to knitting as I am, they don't look that hard!).  They should be pretty quick and easy to crank out, and I can stock a basket full of them to sell at our next Italian Greyhound Rescue fundraiser.  Maybe, just maybe, with lots and lots of practice, I can crank out some worthwhile dog sweaters too.  Much to learn first!

Edit: oops!  I must have the April 2006 issue (I DO know what year this is, honest!!!)

Does anyone know where I can get this back issue of "Knit It" magazine with the poncho pattern? I'm not having any luck finding it.
