Cat Bordhi

Since I am treating my learning-to-knit process as an intellectual exercise as well as a craft, I am doing lots of reading and listening. Cat Bordhi seems to have a unique teaching style that I like. this is especially true about circular needle techniques. But when I go into the bookstores very few of her books are there. Lots of knitting books but not her. Opinions?

You almost need to go to a yarn shop to find Cat Bordhi books. I don't think I've ever seen them in a bookstore. If at all interested in socks, you should try the new pathways for socks book. I just finished the 1st of the learning socks. She definately has an interesting take on things.

If you ever have a chance to take a class with her, she is an excellent instructor. I bought most of my books on Amazon simply because they are usually discounted. Her new sock book, New Pathways for Sock Knitters, has some great new techniques about gussets and the placement of those extra stitches. If you like to knit socks, this is a great book.
