My VERY first Blog

I was just turned on to this site by a member of a knitting group that we both belong to. "Thank you, Paul"
I have been knitting for so long that I can't remember when I started. I believe that it was sometime way back in grade school when I started knitting blocks for an afghan. That was also when I learned that I hate to sew things together. I make lots of afghans and scarfs and sweaters (usually done from the top down) with no sewing of seams. I will post photos of some of my work on future blogs.

Welcome Ross. Hope to get to know you and your work. I too hate the finishing part of knitting. I do all the pieces and then it sits, sometimes for months before I can finally get around to putting it all together. Anyway, look forward to hearing more rom you.

Welcome to MWK. We have one thing in common, I too learned to knit in grade school in Corning, NY. Eveyone spent an hour a day knitting blocks for afghans. The blocks were given to the Red Cross to sew together for blankets. I have been knitting ever since.
