Never enough...

I entered sockwars...

They send out the Dossier on May 9th.
Hopefully I will have just sent out my mother and father's sweaters.

I hope it's not too complicated a pattern. Last time I did it, there was an error in the pattern, and I lost a bit of time figuring out the boo-boo. Otherwise I would have finished one sock the first night. (My goal was to deliver the first kill of the contest, and do it live and in public at Folsom street fair...but with the boo-boo. I only ended up getting one and a bit of the socks done by the fair time. (My victim lives in SF and said in his blog that he was going to the fair with his BF).

Forgive if this is rambling and spacey: I got a half hour of sleep last night. (And not for a "fun" reason).

I am so distraught! I signed up for it, but it wasn't until 12:45 am (technically Sunday the 4th) that I could get there! I don't think I'll be able to do it... sad face!

Please keep us informed of your battles and skirmishes in Sock Wars III. Perhaps you could even enlist a few retired generals to comment on your progress on Sunday morning TV. I really wanted to jump in too but I'm just now coming out of four weeks of a completely lunatic schedule - we'll call it battle fatigue - and am sitting this one out.

May victory be yours!

Think less, enjoy it more.

I LOVE the world "DISTRAUGHT". In the second Harry Potter movie, the highlight had to be the actress who played "Moaning Myrtle" who completely stole EVERY scene she was in. My favorite line was when she was complaining being teased about her glasses by Olive Hornby (how do I remember these names) and she talks about running into the girls room. "I was DISTRAUGHT!!!" She barks. HILARIOUS!
