A Gift for You (3 of you anyhow)

Here's the deal. Our LYS had a sale this week and in their "$1 patterns" pile, they had three copies of the "Vogue Knitting K.1 men's issue" from Fall/Winter 2005. As far as I know it's the only men's issue they've done; I've heard a few people, over the years, who wanted a copy but couldn't get their hands on one. In my opinion, it's not great, but not bad either (I have one). Anyhow, I picked up all three copies.

They're NOT in "like new" shape (although they've never been used) since they've been sitting around the shop for 3 years now. As a matter of fact, they must have been "on sale" once before since the UPC is marked out with $1.50... But, they're definitely usable - and, to three of you, they're free.

Here's what I'll do. E-mail me if you're interested (e-mail: teejtc [at] gmail [dot] com) (or PM me her on MWK). Sunday is Pentecost, Mother's Day and "Rural Life Sunday" -- I will pull three names out sometime during the day in honor of whichever one you prefer :-)

Wow, what enormous....uh....needles.....that guy has!

May flames from heaven descend upon all your rural mothers tomorrow! That would tie all three in nicely, don't you think?

Take care,

Think less, enjoy it more.

And you haven't seen the center-fold yet... yes, there is a centerfold - it's practically pornographic...

But then, we all know people read pattern books for the articles and patterns.....

The first issues didn't have the woman on the right on the cover (who is probably thinking, what are you doing with my "personal vibrating massagers". I expect they thought the guy might be "perceived as gay" (HEAVENS TO MURGATROID!) without the babe to protect his masculinity.

and the stuff that's knitted inside. GIVE ME AN EFFING BREAK. And the broomhandle knitting needles...COMPENSATE MUCH?!? It was good for a laugh. Thanks for the memory.
