FO - Beebee Beenkee

Finally, it's done! I haven't posted in a while because I've been working on this blanket (as well as the cobblestone sweater and a grocery bag). I finally had to take the other two projects off the needles so I could actually have enough circular needle length to finish the border on this blanket. It's knitted with Cascade 220 Superwash on size 7s. The pattern comes from "Knit Baby Blankets" edited by Gwen Steege.

I can't wait to send this to the parents! The baby is due late summer/early fall.

Lucky Baby! I love the detailing in the border.

MMario - ambiguity is cultivated, it doesn't happen in a vacuum!

MMario - I'm not divorced from reality - we're having a trial separation

I totally have to agree with that one...Leaves the entrelac bankie I'm working on in the dust, for sure.

WOW - what a gorgeous blanket, and with a maximum of 4 colours. I really love it.

THat baby blanket is so fine. Where do y'all find such great patterns? Live in a Michaels/Joann Fabric wasteland.

What a beautiful blanket. At first sight I thought it was a quilt. Stunning.

My opinion exactly...I thought it was a quilt... I like the color combinations: it strikes me as very "First Nations/Native American" which I think is incredibly groovy for a child's bankie.

Good God, Man! You rock!

Great job Frank. Having seen it in progress, while the photo is great, it really doesn't do justice to the amount of detail that is in that piece. FANTASTIC!
