A huge sigh of relief

After blindly stumbling through what seems like a million internet sites and following link aftre link (generally to not a lot) I find myself at menwhoknit.com  I suddenly feel like I've found home and it full of people as nuts about knitting as me.  I am hoping that my blog proves interesting reading as I develope skills and move onto things more adventurous than scarves.  Is there such a thing as a plain and simple jumper for the brave new knitter?

Check out Ann Budd's "handy book of sweater patterns" by Interweave Press.  It is worth having.  The instructions are clear for a variety of shoulder looks.  If you like raglans you might want to try her version of doing it in the round.  It will omit seaming and will get you used to increases and decreases.
