The Forest Canopy Shawl

In addition to the wedding shawl and the mother-in-law's birthday shawl... I also whipped out Susan Lawrence's Forest Canopy Shawl for my sister-in-law, Lisa.

I used Blackberry Ridge Woolen Mills handpainted bulky worsted in the "Forest Floor" colorway on size US 10 Addi Turbos. It knitted up pretty quick! It is such an unusual design, too! You cast on at the middle of the neck and as you knit down to the point you are also increasing out to the ends.

This was also the first project that I also knitted up a "Knecklace" using a 10 row pattern from Such a fun and unexpected addition for the receipient to get!

Okay... I have got to go pack!!!!

Wow..... you have been busy. All the shawls look wonderful and each very different. I am interested in your blocking table that you mention in a blog below. I am going to have to block afghan panels and have no idea how to do it. Have a great trip. Jack

Wow, Bill! That one turned out amazing...

Next time you guys are going to Mount Horeb, let me know!

Also, how many repeats did you end up doing with that pattern?
