I finally finished what I started two years ago, and I had promised to my mom I'd have finished for her in less then a year....in the end it took a little over two years, and I am proud of what i did though I still don't and never did like the sweater itself, any comments??

If someone had described this sweater to me, I don't think I would have liked the concept, but seeing the picture, I am truly impressed with how beautiful it is. Excellent work both from a technical and artistic perspective.

Does your mom like it?

Isn't that funny...I'd rather boil and eat my own head than knit lace (or fine socks), but I love colour work.

Yeah my mom is exstatic, it's actually a depiction of her favourite painting, you know 'The Dreamer' by Picasso, and I guess it did sort of work out.

What an amazing piece of fiber art. You are a greatly gifted knitter. I don't think I would have been able to accomplish what you have mastered. Your mother should be so proud. If I was the person getting the sweater, I don't know that I would wear it because it's so beautiful.

Wow....I'm impressed! Intarsia, fair Isle and some textured stitches. Looks like a lot of work. I'm sure your Mother is really impressed and excited to wear it. Shows a lot of love and dedication on your part.

To Doug.....wow, I checked your site I love LOVE your work, the vest in 2 shades of green with the cable down the middle is gorgeous!!

To Dan.....I know I should have spent my time more wisely, but my mom starting doubting my ability to ever finish the project and well, I just had to prove her wrong!

What an amazing creation. It is impossible to tell you how wonderful it is because it is so much more than that. Truly magnificent.

You designed this yourself? It's GORGEOUS! If I was your mom I'd spontaneously burst into tears just to look at it.

You are an inspiration. How amazing your talent is. I am loving seeing all the wonderful things you have created. Keep it up. It is time I challenged myself with something more difficult that shawls, scarves, hats, gloves and socks.
Thank You,
Phillip
