In a bind.

So I've finally just about used up all my yarn that's not already reserved for my Alice Down the Rabbit Hole project. The only thing holding me back on THAT project is that I don't have Alice done (or started). And I don't want to knit the whole without knowing the scale by using a completed Alice. My problem is that I can't find a decent doll pattern to save my life. They're either hideous or involve lots of sewing (which I am completely inept at). I thought about just buying a plastic doll and knitting up the clothing, but I can't seem to find one with an "I'm falling down a hole" facial expression. I'm in limbo with it, but I don't want to be because once I finish this one last hat, that's all I've got left to work on. Does anyone have any ideas at all????? Or cool doll patterns?

I've seen a doll advertised that has that look on her face, but I think she would be too big and you have to blow her up.

LOL Yes, I think that might not be what I'm looking for. ;-)
