Log Cabin Socks

Hey Guys!

Here's a pair of socks I recently completed.  Its the Log Cabin Sock pattern from Handknit Holidays by Melanie Falick.  I knit it using 2.5 balls of Rowan Cork.  Was a great project and I'm happy with the result:

So cute and periwinkle is my favorite color!
I'm jealous of your cables as I haven't learned to do those yet.

Those are AWESOME socks!  Love the color, and love the pattern!  I'm totally gonna have to see about getting that book!  YAY CABLES!  And mmmmm, furry legs. :)

Jared, those socks look amazing! Another example of your outstanding knitting talents. Great job on finishing up your WIPs, I wish I could do the same as I have so many in the works.

These socks are truly amazing, Jared. Keep up the excellent work. I have knitted many pairs of socks over the years but nothing like those of yours. As we have limited sources (climate is too hot) for such wonderful items here in Australia would you be will to share the pattern??? We have polished wooden floors in our house and my partner and I wear socks when indoors and these would be ideal.

Hey Victor-

The pattern is from the book "Handknit Holidays" by Melanie Falick.  It can be found at any bookstore or online for cheap on Ebay or Amazon.  The pattern has sizes for men and women alike, although I had to add a little length in the foot to accomodate my shoe size, but that was easy.

Supurb job, well done. I'd like to knit a pair of those for myself.
