Glad to be here!

Hello everyone,
I started with knitting years ago in my early teens and for some reason, after being headlong into it with several sizes of needles, crochet hooks, stitch holders (those humungous sized safety pins), knitting bag, and all--it got put aside. Thinking back I can't really pin it down to a single reason why I stopped with it.
I'm back into it again, at the age of 52, and finding websites like this one is a God send. I am just absolutely amazed at the projects I see everyone doing. GREAT!
I look forward to getting to know you and sharing my accomplishments as well.
Keep it up!

WOW! Thanks guys!

I do have some WIP to report: I'm knitting a Men's Muffler from a beginner's book I picked up at Wal-Mart. It involves the ladder stitch with a front cross stitch and a back cross stitch which turns out sort of like a "mini" cable look. Kind of neat, but those two stitches are somewhat of a bugger.

It's coming along very well. The pattern gives the size of 7.5 x 45 inches. I have a length of about 24 inches completed.

I tried to download / upload a few pics from my camera of it couple of days ago and had some problems. I'll keep trying.

Keep it lite and happy!
