With me luck!

Wish me luck everyone... better yet... just send your good knitting vibes my way! LOL

Jason's parents are coming for a visit. We haven't seen them in two years so I wanted to make them something special when they arrived. I'm making slipper socks for them that will be laying on their pillows when they arrive. That, and they will each have their own knitted washcloth in the guest bath.

Whattaya think?? They have put up with my years of experimentation with every hat and scarf pattern I ever ran across so I thought I'd make them something a little extra nice this time. So... wish me luck!![img_assist|nid=8033|title=Jason's Kilt Socks 2|desc=This is the type of sock I'm making for Jason's parents. I'm making them in chunkier wool so they will be more like slipper socks than the kilt socks I made for Jason and myself earlier this month.

Good luck!! Those look like the hiking socks from one of the men's knitting books no?

Sounds like a wonderful and thoughtful gift. I'm sure they will love them.

Both the handknit washcloths and the slipper socks are lovely gifts to welcome them into your home. I hope they appreciate them and the obvious caring that you show by making such generous gifts. Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.

Good luck to you! I would love a pair of those with a pad or liner on the bottom so I can wear them around the house. Not too warm, not too cool. Just right Seattle most of the year.
