Mandalay Turtle

The most recent finished object that I realized I hadn't posted about. This was probably the pattern I liked best from the Guy•Knit book by Interweave Press.

I had a ton of black Wool-Ease in my stash, so I put it to use for this. I don't mind working with it or wearing it, so it's a good basic project yarn when I knit for myself.

I like the handsome tailoring! Wool Ease is great for everyday stuff and very affordable. Nice job!

Actually, I think you used Wool-Ease in it's best possible way...a classic sweater in a classic color.

I helped my former massage therapist to learn to knit and his first project was a simple turtleneck in black Wool-Ease and it looked like a million bucks too.

Glad you remembered to post this one.

Very nice! I wish I had a neck so I could wear turtle necks.

I really like that, Vince.

It looks like it would be awesome to wear. How was the yarn when you were knitting it?

...looks like it was just awesome to knit with.

Excellent job.

Nice sweater, Vince. I used Wool-Ease, double stranded, to knit a pair of commissioned hunting socks. Looked good and was nice to work with. I knit a pair of house socks out of the leftovers and they are still holding up quite well some 5 to 8 years later. Love the colour, and the sweater is absolutely gorgeous. What a wonderful job.

Keep it lite and happy!
