Once again, your work looks very Renaissance to me. Do you generally have very Elizabethan sensibilities? I love it by the way!

Your braidwork looks like sculpted marble, beautiful!

I salute you, this work is manificent, it does not matter to me if the designs are original or not the execution is absolutely dynamic. Well done!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is fabulous!

Why not knit the tights and belt yourself?

Are you insane?

Can't wait to see it finished! I, too, am a fan of the cables...I have yet to try one of that sort.

This is beautiful! Where did you get the pattern? I was working on an Alice Starmore pattern with some "gift" yarn, ran out in mid-sleeve and never finished it b/c I could never find anything to match it closely enough. I would love to knit this! It's great! Thanks, Kev

Thank you!

I was inspired by a friend's version of Dunadd by Alice Starmore, which is a throw. I altered the cables and the design is my own with much help from Elsebeth Lavold and also from the most gifted of all designers, Alice Starmore.

Great design and knitting. I suggested the Elsebeth Lavold book for our local library's collection and it is always checked out. Talk about learning how to manipulate stitches and cables...Woof! I am tempted to revisit the idea of working out a design of my own, spurred on by your example. -- Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.

I love it... wonderful... it remind me not only of all those celtic designs but the moslem designs in the national mosque in Casablanca... years ago I went there... the arabs have been into the patterns for a long time too ... I love that sort of thing... am looking forward to seeing the end result... no need for tights...
