On My Travels...

Dear all,

I was travelling a couple of weeks back doing some work in Scotland and, as usual, scouted around to sniff out the wool shops. It's always great to buy stuff when you're away as you can often find stuff I can't buy at home and it's a nice reminder of where you've been when you're knitting with the wool you've bought.

In St. Andrews (about an hour and a half outside Edinburgh) I found a great shop run by Di Gilpin. She does a lot of design work for Rowan and other places and tells me that she's doing some new designs for men...and I loved her shop and range of wool. Have a look at her website:

I'm also posting a recently-finished project for our friend's baby, Polly...

warm wishes to all

What a great sweater. It is just too cute for words. I love the double breast and the pocket.
