Spider Man Blanket

I saw this pattern online and immediately thought of Tracy's nephew, Thomas. He is crazy for Spider Man just as I was when I was his age (he's four). Unfortunately, I didn't get to see his reaction first hand when he opened it, but his Mom called me today and she said he went gaga over it! I know I would have liked one (maybe still do a little bit).

That's awesome!!!

It looks like it's crochet???

Reminds me of the netting that was used in the old Spiderman sets on The Electric Company.

That kid MUST be in heaven!

Good work.

You're right Robert, it is crochet. Thanks! They do have a knit version on ravelry for free download, but I needed something quick and mindless right now.

...knit or crochet, it looks great!

I wanna be that lucky child.

Quick and mindless...yes, indeed, a good way to go.

What a great looking blanket. You guys are right, that would be great for spiderman fans. I'm into the mindless projects myself.

Knitted or crochet, what a wonderful gift for a "Spiderman" fan!!! He will love it more cause his "uncle Mil" made it for him. I always wanted a Superman cape, maybe it was the drape lol.

I know this Thomas wants one. ::runs to put in ravelry queue::

That is just adorable, I'm sure your nephew will cherish it.

Very nice. I'm sure a lot of his friends will be terribly jealous when they see it, begging for one from knitters/crocheters in their personal spheres. - Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.

What a great blanket- definitely not your grandma's knitting anymore (that's what happens when the men get in)!
