DPNS and the Freedom Hat

Freedom Hat
I have finally finished my first DPN project and it is actually my first dpn pattern as well. I am taking advantage of feeling good to show you the hat. Until now I have been afraid of DPNs, until I made this hat. I can say that making hats with DPNs is a science in itself. I can not compare circular knitting, or flat knitting with dpn knitting, it is a different experience. I say it is a matter of choice. In the meantime thanks for allowing me to share this with you.

The hat looks great. I am glad to hear you are better, too.

glad you're feeling better. The hat looks great. How did you finish your other hats without using DPNs?

I have made a lot of hats on the flat and have used two circular needles, but most of my hats are Tapestry Crochet.

Thanks to all for the well wishes too!

Happy you are feeling better Andy. And I like the hat!

It's a great feeling when you master something new.

Nice hat, Andy! That alternating ribbing is a great way to hug the forehead and make it attractive at the same time. My problem is the reverse...I'm finally getting used to using Magic Loop and 2 Circulars for knitting in the round. Glad you are feeling better. -- Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.
