shawl - just finished!!!

After 1,5 - 2 years of knitting (with many and long-time breaks) I finished - this morning - shawl (18 colors) for my friend from museum (by Kaffe Fasset`s design). Details: (5 x 25) stitches X (18 x 30) rows = 125 stitches x 540 rows, 75 cm x 225 cm and ... 1,7 kg. I`m verry happy!!! Tomorrow the gift will be offered!

Even the BACK looks amazing. I am in awe!

Ditto! And I like the back - I think it's softer, more to my tastes

From the back, it appears you have woven the carried first color yarn as you knit in the second favorite way to do stranded knitting. What a splendid peice of work, Jerzy!

Truly amazing. I've done so little color work that this looks unfathomable.

Very impressive knitting, Jerzy. I love Kaffe's designs but have never been brave enough to try one. -- Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.

absolutely gorgeous! I think I'm a long way off from using so many colors, I'm having a hard enough time with 4.
