Hats I knitted in Iceland (and on the plane)

Here's a shot of two hats I did on the Lopi light yarn.

Beautiful work! Can you describe the characteristics of the Lopi yarn?

Well, it's very much like the sheep's wool and it's not 2-ply or 3-ply or 4-ply or anything like that. I noticed that when I go to break it, it breaks very very easily but not so easily that it breaks while I'm knitting. Not sure how to describe it. I can send some to you if you'd like to just see some. You know how it goes, there's always a little bit left over here and there.

if I recall discussions on this from other forums it is almost a thin roving.

Absolutely beautiful!

...and of course, that lovely star design that shouts "Scandinavia!"

You did such a good job! The wool looks so good and it looks like you had a good time working with it.
