Yesterday a new way to block hats occurred to me, and since it actually worked better than I expected I thought I'd share it with you. (A new way to me, that is - others may have had the same idea, of course!)
Considering the shape of hats I never liked blocking them flat, and now I had an idea I'd try a balloon; that way it would be possible to get exactly the size I wanted too. It worked! A lamp turned out to be the perfect place to put it to keep the whole thing upright and in place until the hat was dry. (A bonus thing is that I actually had two new hats that needed blocking, and thanks to the "balloon method" they have the same circumference.)
I hope somebody wants to try it - I'm curious what others think of it and how it turns out!
