Another shot of "Spanish Armada"

MMario's picture

Here's another photo of the Spanish Armada that took a ribbon at Rhinebeck.

I was going to insert the image into this post - but it's way too big.

I still haven't found out who knit it....maybe someday.

Amazingly beautiful.
I am not sure that I would have the courage to do something that intricate when I knitt. I've crocheted that intricately, but never knitted. Once again, Amazing!

Oddly enough, some people have chosen to knit this pattern to "practice" for Queen Anne's Lace - which is by far the simpler knit.

Seriously?

I will give the Spanish Armada a go when the weather turns and there's no reason to go outside any more. I am thinking a blue Armada.

The color is beautiful and the pattern looks very nice and busy enought to keep your mind entertained for hours while making it.

Congrats, Mario. Hats off to you!

The odd thing is; and AmBush and I both noticed this, you would think they would have the pattern name listed on the tags, but it's not part of the required information....

But seeing some of the entries I would love to know what the pattern was to give me a start in hunting for them.

MMario, thanks for the new pic. This really is a glorious shawl, and it shows even better in this view. Again, congrats!
